Re-approaching Fitness Through Behavior Change
A self-paced, evidence-informed course designed to help you make sense of your past fitness experiences, connect with your “why,” and build personalized movement habits that fit your life.
If exercise has felt confusing, inconsistent, or hard to stick with, this course explains why and what to do differently.
You’ve tried to “just start.”
You’ve joined gyms.
Downloaded programs.
Tried to follow plans.
Pushed yourself to be more disciplined.
Thought “tomorrow, it’ll be different.”
And somehow… it never sticks.
It’s not you.
There's a lot of fitness noise out there, and most of it skips the part where you actually understand yourself and how change works.
So you start strong, hit a wall, feel bad about it, and repeat the cycle.
What if the problem wasn't your commitment, but the approach?

Traditional fitness culture doesn't feel like it was made with you in mind.
You want consistency, but motivation always seems to disappear.
You're overwhelmed by conflicting advice and don't know what's actually right for you.
You want to understand the process of behavior change, motivation, and how to find yours.
Fitness habits don’t require more discipline.
They require more self-understanding.

🎉 Make sense of your past fitness experiences, without guilt or shame.
🎉 Understand what makes change actually sustainable (and it’s not willpower).
🎉 Identify the types of movements and fitness environments that work best for you.
🎉 Make intentional, informed decisions about when and how to engage with fitness.
🎉 Build a personalized fitness strategy that fits your real life.
🎉 Navigate traditional fitness environments with confidence and a clear sense of direction.
What you get:
8 modules. A clear understanding of you.

Remove the shame and understand why exercise habits feel hard, and why that’s not a reflection of you.

A simple, grounded understanding of what fitness actually is. Cutting through trends so you can evaluate movement choices with confidence.
-
How behavior change really works and strategic tips to support successful behavior change.
-
Move away from “discipline” and “should”, and toward personal meaning and the intrinsic drivers that make returning to movement easier.
-
Identify your personal characteristics, preferences and needs so your fitness approach reflects who you are and the life you actually live.
-
Translate your unique characteristics into a realistic, personalized fitness strategy.
-
Tips and tools to navigate traditional fitness environments and set yourself up for successful experiences.
-
Reflect, adjust, and practice. Reinforcing your approach to movement so it becomes a true foundation.
Your Instructor
Christin Everson, MS
I've spent nearly 20 years in the fitness and wellness industry, and a lot of that time asking a critical question: why does the system so often fail the people it's supposed to serve?
I've served all types of clients, including fitness businesses, and I've seen firsthand how much shame and confusion surround simply trying to move more. The science of behavior change, which is proven to guide fitness habits, is seldom integrated by professionals. That's what drove me to create this course.
My work is grounded in behavior change science, inclusive and personalized practice, and a deep respect for the fact that every person brings a unique history to their relationship with movement.
I'm not here to hand you a plan and send you on your way. I'm here to help you build your movement foundation. One that supports your health, longevity, and autonomy.

No, this course is designed to help you target the foundational elements of fitness education, behavior change, and motivation rather than a very specific program for you to use. At the end of this course, you’ll have a clear strategy for what to do, where to do it, and with whom to do it. The course does provide resources for where to get specific programs.
